A close encounter with a rattlesnake from Texas

Jacob Gamble who is a resident of Decatur Texas had an encounter with a rattlesnake that was sitting on his couch outside of his home when his daughter warned her dad to stay away from the snake since it is poisonous. The event happened on April 21 while the Gamble family left their home to buy a pizza at a local parlor for dinner. The Gamble family were watching a basketball game between their Dallas Mavericks taking on the former New Orleans and now Utah Jazz in the National Basketball Association (NBA) playoff game three played in Salt Lake City. The Gamble family were gone for a period of ten minutes. When they came home from buying their dinner, Jacob saw the snake sitting on his couch when he decided to end the life of the snake by shooting it with a rifle since in his view the rattlesnake was trespassing. Jacob who has lived in Decatur for three years admits it is the first time he has had an encounter with a snake. Thank goodness there are no snakes in my area since I would be scared stiff from seeing one in the grass.
