Cindi Soden who is employed as a server at an Applebee's in Hanover Township Pennsylvania was at the right place at the right time on Friday evening when a young boy whose name was not released began to choke on his food. Cindi who has experience in dealing with customers who need her help dealing with choking issues answered the call for help as the grandmother of the boy cried for help. Cindi then used the Heimlich Maneuver on the boy to remove the food object from his mouth so he could breathe again. The family of the boy rewarded Cindi for doing her work with a $25 dollar gift card signed by the boy whose she saved as her reward. Cindi is humble enough to admit that she was just doing her job as a server at Applebee's and that she would do it again.

That is such a handy skill to have, especially if you work in hospitality.
