I find this quote by Solon to be very poignant. I am a very curious person. Though the subject of death is rather morbid I find myself thinking about it every few months. Both my parents died in their mid-70s of cancer. Will I also go that way? Or, will I die of old age like my maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather? Or with Alzheimer's as my paternal grandmother did? Questions, questions, and more questions. I hate the thought of there just being blackness and no cognitive awareness too. Fade to black. I want to come back from time to time and visit my family. The whole butterfly thing is so romantic and cool. I would love that.
