Today's a day off from both jobs so I'm going shopping / myLot

Shortly I'll be leaving to head to a shoe shop to try on shoes for work and sandals for a wedding and summer weather. After that I plan on going to an undergarment store and see if I can afford their prices. I am also on the lookout for a shrug, it's a summer sweater with short sleeves and a shirt back and front to wear with fancy clothes. That will also be for the wedding. I bought a longer one but I don't want it overshadowing my dress so I'd a short one is found I'll take the other one back. Then, I'll head to my grocery store to pick up some low fat cheeses which I need for supper later. I may also get more veggies, but not to many as I'm running out of space in the fridge. I expect to be back mid afternoon. See you then. The pic of it loads is a more recent one of my red bud tree.

Sounds like quiet a bit of shopping. Love your redbuds. We had two beautiful redbuds at the front of our apartment but they were cut down. We went out one day and the trees were gone.

@MarshaMusselman A lot of trees were cut in our complex at the time. I don’t know why.

The one store I was going to check out has been closed since COVID but I got one undergarment at target. I then went to the grocery store and spent more than expected but I'm sure we'll use everything in the weeks to come. I've not made it to the shoe store yet. A neighbor stopped over to see my new kitchen and we talked for awhile. Then I ate a little lunch before heading out.

@MarshaMusselman Ah, Target is good for stuff like that. Oh wow, has that one store been closed all this time and is still closed? I don't mind overspending at the grocery store . . . yah, eventually all of it will hopefully get eaten up. Ah, shoes too! I have not bought any shoes in a long time. How nice of your neighbor to stop by! Hope it turned out to be a good shopping day.

@much2say I'll need needing a new pair of shoes for work and a pair of sandals to wear for a wedding and for the summer too. I've not had sandals now for several years. I hope to purchase both at a store where I wash the stores windows and the owners home. She lets me barter a portion of the price.

Yay! I always enjoy shopping, although I know some hate it. The only time I am not into it, is if I am in a hurry.

I think it's more fun if you have someone to go with, but I went alone. At least that way I got back in time to start making supper.

I enjoy seeing the buds pop out every spring. But they don't last very long. Once the leaves start growing the blooms will drop off.

Looks lovely and shady. Hope you find what you want. I went shopping too. Got home early. Weather forecast stormy from Wednesday afternoon, till weekend, so staying in. Glad I had sunshine today for my laundry.
