I Could Have Been One of Them

I was watching "History's Greatest Mysteries" last night and I could have been a victim of this murder. The episode was about Chicago's famous Tylenol Murders back in 1982. Cyanide was put in bottles of Tylenol. Back then they didn't have protective seals on the bottles. The amount of cyanide in each tablet is 100xs more than is needed to kill one person. So this is evil, not just wanting to kill people. Quite an investigation went on back then to find the right guy. James Lewis was indicted on extortion charges but he isn't in Chicago during the Tylenol murders. He got off on a murder back in the 70s due to a technicality. Even after more investigation as late as 2010 they could never charge Lewis with the Tylenol murders. At one point they even thought that the Unibomber did these murders. There was a similar murder case in Sheridan, Wyoming. Could these murders have been a practice run? In 1983 a law was passed called the Federal Anti-Tappering Act. So, anyway, if these murders had been done here in Idaho I could have been one of the victims. I use Tylenol nearly exclusively for arthritic pain. How many of you use Tylenol? It is scary to think about.

I have used Tylenol in the past but I seriously doubt that I took the medicine back in 1982 since I used Anacin at that time.
