can't wait to go back to our house

The time after the typhoon has been really hard. it was hard to get water, there was no electricity for more than 2 months too. Good thing I was able to rent a room with my work mate in another city so I could at least continue work.
I really took for granted how comfortable my life was before, we have all the basic necessities and all.
It's almost nearing the middle of the year and covid numbers have been decreasing, the fixes for the house are starting, hopefully we can go back to our house soon.
Quite excited to buy new furniture though, at least now I can have a say of how to style the house.

The past two years have been horrible ones with pandemic and all the insanity going around the world. We just hope and pray that things get better.
Hope that you get back to your home soon. It must have been so challenging.
