Life is a series of tradeoffs. You cannot have everything. The mature know this and understand it. The immature don't and are always getting themselves into a vicious cycle of troubles. A tradeoff is the giving up of one thing in order to get something else. It is trading, giving this to get that. If a man refuses to give up something, he can never trade. There are people who want everything and refuse to deal in tradeoffs. We live in a society where we must interact with each other. And interaction calls for give and take. I call it trading off. Do you agree?

I agree we cant have everything. My definition would be a little different its like if you want to earn money you have to work and miss your daughter's school activity. Or go abroad but be far from loved ones but will give them comfortable lifves.

I do, and the simplest example to explain it is that you have to give up on your fun and chilling time in order to achieve whatever it is you want to achieve..
