Back about 35 years I had met up again with a fellow I had a mad crush on when we were in high school. He and I would go out on pub crawls, (Go from one bar to the next)play pool and enjoy ourselves. He had restored an old Ford pickup and drove it everywhere. One night we met a group that was in a car club. They invited us to the scavenger hunt they were having the next weekend. We talked it over and decided to be a part of it. We met all the attending members at a place for lunch where the rules were set down and then we started out. I was the co-pilot and read the instructions to him as he drove us around. We would get instructions and some clues to help us in finding several objects we needed to win. It was great fun! Hurrying around, following the instructions in finding the different objects, finding other members along the way, and hurrying to try and get ahead of them. We didn't win but, we sure had a good time.
