Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 87 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. I have the air conditioning on but it doesn't seem to be working. I keep setting it to 72 and it reverts to 65 but the apartment is currently 76. I have no idea what is going on. It is cool enough in here for now so I'm not going to call maintenance as it isn't an emergency. It is going to be much cooler tomorrow anyway.
I slept in a bit this morning which was nice. The cats certainly enjoyed it. I really haven't done much of anything so far today. I took a bath, read a magazine, and stripped the bed. I have ground turkey merguez mixture sitting on the counter so the flavors can marry and then I have to cook them. I will be having those patties with dill-yogurt sauce for my lunches this week along with a salad. Hopefully it will be a good eating week.
After the merguez patties are done I am going to make the chocolate chip cookies that I've been planning to make for like a week now. Hopefully after that I will still have the energy to make dinner.

We're having a lovely day in Michigan, it's probably around 50 degrees today. This is very nice weather, in my opinion. Your lunches for the week sound delicious!

@marlina Oh this is terrible, Marlina! We didn't have any damaging weather, in out part of Michigan. Yet, there was a tornado in the northern part of our state, but no serious damage or fatalities.

Sounds like a hot one for you. If it's cool enough, I wouldn't worry about the numbers too much.

I’ve got a nasty sinus infection (covid test was negative), so I’m sucking down mint tea and putting hot compresses on my face.

Not much. I found a Corporate number for DISH; so maybe they will let someone talk to me about my problem today. I am running behind on MyLot today; so I will have to finish this after Meals on Wheels gets here.
