Beautiful fountaining at Etna volcano

Japan

I've been watching the eruption of Etna (normal, not dangerous, don't panic). In the night it has been showing beautiful lava fountains. Check them out on this live stream and scroll back to the night view if you come on when it's daytime. Do you like watching erupting volcanoes? I do, when they are not hurting anyone! Etna is the oldest volcano to still be erupting frequently!

I do enjoy watching erupting volcanoes especially when spewing live lava from its crater. It's only in the movie but not in the actual scene. We have a dormant volcano in our place and it's sleeping soundly but lately it spewing a ton of volcanic ashes.

If it's spewing ash, I wouldn't call it dormant!

You do have to wonder at the power behind these eruptions.

@petatonicsca Really? I'd find that a bit scary but I guess you get somewhat used to it.

Yes, especially if you happen to really be near one, you can feel the vibration of the earth sometimes even when not erupting.
