I do not know much the behavior of coyotes in terms of how they react when they see an otter on the grounds in Fern Park Florida on May 5th which on Thursday morning. The female news hound as I call her since she had a video camera in her possession while she was walking her cat saw an otter who was protecting her child in the park area. The otter managed to chase the coyote away from her presence. The female who was not identified mentioned that despite her presence in the park, neither the coyote or the otter made any moves toward her and her cat. The video was then released to Facebook where it received a lot of praise for her work capturing on film the action of the coyote and the otter. What I know about coyotes is that they are usually seen in the desert areas since I liked the cartoon from Warner Brothers when the Roadrunner would outsmart Wile E. Coyote in the desert.

It's strange how wild animals will sometimes ignore humans.

I have noticed that in some of the videos from newscasts where animals see humans filming them and then walking away from the filmmaker.

Coyotes can actually run faster than a roadrunner. But that fact would have made for a very short cartoon.

I do remember the rare occasion where Wile E almost ate the Roadrunner.

There are coyotes in the hills of North Georgia. I’ve seen them when we pass through.

@Deepizzaguy I’ve only seen them in North Georgia but I think they’re in many states.

@Milo8855 You are right. They look for foods to survive.

Otters always seem cute and playful. Maybe they are noble too!

I have heard them around here at night. Sounds like an odd pairing, but good to hear.

You are right since maybe my knowledge of coyotes is limited to the cartoons.
