I'm stressed with a school nearby

Aside from being a customer service representative in an online shopping for fashion, I'm a part time library consultant in a private school nearby. They're using my license per visit as well as if there's an inspection from a government entity. At first, I am happy with my relationship with them. However, as times goes by, I'm feeling that I don't want to continue my services to them. Yesterday, they've contacted me that there's a virtual conference with some members of the government entity. Although, it's virtual and I feel I don't want to attend because my name is always on the cliffhanger. Why? The government entity is requiring the library to fulfill the upgrading of library collections. In which, I always requesting that to the school owner, and they always promising to purchase that. And always promising that in 2 years as I'm part of that school and still nothing. So, I'll decide not to attend anymore today. Although the honorarium is good for tomorrow, however, I rather not to have the honorarium because my name is in the cliffhanger always.

The school is taking advantage of you. You'll be the one responsible when the school doesn't bring their library up to code.

@luisga814 Depending on how strongly I felt about this, I might call the government entity and tell them you've recommended the school bring their library up to code but you're being ignored.

@DaddyEvil Honestly, I'm just thinking right now the pro's and con's of my next actions. What will happen if I'm going to resign? Pro's and con's? What will happen if I'll let them know again my requests? Pro's and con's again? What will happen if I'll report them to the government entity? Pro's and con's again?

Yes. I agree with that. Their taking advantage of me. They don't even pay in a month or at least twice a month. They only pay me when they've wanted to call me. That's why the conference of the visitation of the government entity, since I didn't attend with that, there's no honorarium. However, they're still using my license.

I'm just visiting their school library and if I'll find something that needs to update their collection or remove something. I'm the one who'll suggest in replacement of the honorarium. My contract to them is every year.

@averygirl72 Yes. That's a good job but they're not going to pay for my consultancy if I'm not around.

I think it is best that you file a formal resignation from them so that you can officially be disconnected from them. I think it is best that you raise your concerns with them so they will be aware of the issue. I think they need to be reminded again and they should know by now that you also have to right to know what is their action plans for the issue to be resolved.

Thanks for the advise. I just woke up because I'm sleeping all day in preparation for my work as a customer service representative. And upon checking my phone, there's 9 missed calls.

Yes, I guess if they dont want to follow your advice no reason to give it. I would just do it for the cash personally, but it is up to you.

In which I don't know. I keep on requesting then before to them about the needs for the goodness of the library. I've even contacted dealers to help the upgrading. The dealers are keep following up about the requests and still no update. They're still saying "busy". I don't know how to be in front of the dealers and no answers.

If I got it right, you're stress about school with tuition fees or miscellaneous fees?
