Dentist appointment

May 24, 2022 11:22am CST
I had a dentist appointment today. It was planned and I knew exactly the work that they would be carrying out. I was prepared for a long afternoon, and boy was it a long one! It took around 90 minutes and by the end my jaw was very numb. I am ready to go again in a few weeks’ time. My appointment card did made me chuckle when I looked at it. I am going at 2.30pm - tooth hurty! I thought this was quite funny, and I had a laugh to myself as I read it out. I never look forward to the dentist. The cost is extremely high in my opinion, as NHS dentists are hard to get into, and I am a private patient because I find it much easier to book, even though it can be rather costly when work is required. Open wide!

Going to the dentist...is awful..worse than going to the doctor in my opinion.

It certainly can be! Criticism is something most feared at the dentist, by me anyway.

Hope that tooth hurts will be gone after your appointment with the dentist.

There is a joke about a Chinese man going to the dentist and tooth hurty. Funny that it turned up in real life but I guess it happens regularly.
