Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBCSO) Detective Araujo was driving in his auto on the streets when he noticed a dog wandering on the street by himself on Thursday May 5 afternoon. Detective Araujo showing compassion for the welfare of the dog. opened up his door of his auto and let the dog enter to ride as a passenger alongside him. The detective took the dog to the local Animal Care Control where the medical team were able to locate the owner of the lost dog via the microchip that the dog had on his possession. The employees at the Animal Care Control were able to inform the owner of the dog the good news that the dog was available to be reunited with them. What do you know? Now a detective was able to reunite a lost dog with his owner which is wonderful news. The question is how did the dog get away from his home and how long was he wandering in the streets?

That was a kind act by the detective. I don't think I'd be letting any strange dogs in my car.

@Deepizzaguy That's true but I'm a bit scared of dogs I don't know.

@JudyEv Same here since mentioning the name Doberman Pinscher and Rottweiler is scary.

I"m so glad the dog was reunited with his owner. I would be frantic if my dog was missing.

I would be frantic as well if my dog were to run away from home.

You don't hear that often, most people would be afraid to open a car door for a dog, actually, I am surprised the dog got in the car. They had the right hook up. I am glad they did.
