Peppie knows he is safe

Our pet cat Peppie knows he is safe with us. I say that going by the way he sleeps - with not a care in the world.
We only have him now having lost a few and some having left us which is customary here. Kittie the mother cat would leave her babies here one at a time and sometimes two as and when she delivered - we do not know how many she delivered. I have no knowledge which house she picked to deliver her babies.
We even had babies from her kids.
