Hmm ... Should Publishers/Broadcasters/Hosts FEEL 'Your Devotion to Them' if You Buy from THEIR Sponsors?

Because that's part of 'my kind of journalism'---blogging about the businesses that sponsor the media I use. I do that--mostly for sponsors of the OKLAHOMA GAZETTE--because of an episode of LAST WEEK TONIGHT---in which John Oliver explains that the usually-FREE issues of alt-newspapers are often "the source of true, hard-hitting journalism!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq2_wSsDwkQ

Usually, if you buy from their sponsors, then that person gets a small kick-back, so... maybe... I watch several of the sponsored YT channels but don't buy/use any of the sponsors' products. Those channels are also monetized on YouTube, so are paid because I watched them so I don't feel obligated to help pay them a second time.

And then a lot of YouTube-channels will have videos that are SPECIFICALLY sponsored (e.g. Professor of Rock will often be sponsored by Zenni Eyewear, "The Frames I'm Wearing in Every Video") ... almost like 'when cable-channels RUN COMMERCIALS' (and sometimes I wonder, 'Wait a minute; why am I PAYING to see this, when you've got people PAYING to let me watch?') If the Youtube-channel's video has a sponsor, is that video still "monetized"?
