My Mountain Bike

I was lucky in getting an early retirement in 2005-2006. They had a party for a bunch of us and I chose a mountain bike for my 'parting gift'. I loved that bike. I rode it all over on our green belt(path along the river that runs through our town).
When my legs/arthritis got bad I could no longer get my leg over the bike to ride. My granddaughter rode my bike a couple of times and broke it down. She said she would fix it but never did. So, it set in pieces in our storage. Recently it just disappeared. My daughter and grandson think that someone in maintenance stole it because they are the only others that knew about it.
I had it for about 15-17 years. It gave me a lot of good service and many enjoyable rides.

I wish I could have gotten it fixed before it went missing.

That's really rotten that someone stole your bike. You had lots of good memories with it.

I sure did. I am not happy thinking it might have been someone in maintenance.
