Freedoms For Women in Saudi Arabia

Since 2018 things seem to be looking up for women in Saudi Arabia. In many areas, they no longer have to wear the traditional abaya. Modest clothing including jogging outfits can be worn. This is in some areas, not in others.
Also, women are able to drive now. For nearly 30 years there was a law that women could not drive. Since 2018 women have been allowed to drive.
Women, there can also make the trek to Mecca in groups.
I for one am glad to see that things are changing for women there now.

I'm delighted they're loosening the restrictions on women doing things on their own. I hope they begin to modify things for women because they need to demonstrate other Muslim countries that it is not bad to offer women some freedom and the ability to express their rights.
