On the History Channel is an original series "Kings of Pain". Two men, Adam Thorn and Rob Alba, are helping to make a guide to pain. They are bitten by different insects and animals and then they rate the pain.
This week it is spiders. Adam has a phobia as I do. Poor guy. The Brazilian black and white Tarantula is up first. Aggressive and runs its hairs up against its attacker. It has huge fangs. Need I go on? The second one was the OBT(Orange Baboon Tarantula) Oh, honey!OMG!!
Have you seen this show? How would you like to be stung, pinched, gouged, or bitten by these insects and animals to help with medicine?

It is not just spiders. In last season's finale he was bitten by a snake and it took him several months to recover. They are crazy.

I think I have seen that or something similar. These guys go around getting bit and stung by most poisonous species on earth either to try to determine pain level and deadliness. I think its calculated they already know but they say they doing it for scientific discovery. Fairly interesting to watch but not sure how smart it is to do that with this crazy country right now. They say do not try at home but like that ever stopped anyone.

They are helping a scientist work up a pain guide for research. It is more than fairly interesting I think.

I have yet to see this show but I like seeing shows that have new and fresh ideas like dealing with pain being bitten by animals.

I've seen this show; and I can't watch it anymore! No, I wouldn't let anything sting or bite me for science.
