When They Actually Get to the Right Address...

Yeah, when Uber actually gets to the right address they are a great service. But, getting to the right address seems to be the rub. My daughter's mamo appointment is today at 2:40p. Medical Transport Management is using Uber. In the MTM system, it is the correct address but somehow Uber messed it up. Completely different number. Where they came up with this address I don't know. They canceled the ride so I set it up through MTM again. This time she hasn't come back in perplexed so hopefully, the driver saw her and picked her up. The old-fashioned taxi would actually come to your exact address but those days seem to be gone. Unless you can get Uber to get the right address. Grr!

When I originate the ride I immediately call the driver and tell them where we are. When it is set by MTM I can't always do that. It is aggrevating. I like my daughter's appt. when they are with a different company than Uber because it is so difficult. MTM has our correct address and yet Uber showed a completely different address. I don't know if the is even a real one. I've never seen it before.

@RubyHawk.......Yes, and there should be no reason Uber gets a weird address like they did.

Does this Uber taxi isn't using the GPS to locate exact location if their passenger?

Yes, they are using GPS but the instructions take them on down from where we actually live.

@Nakitakona .......I get the number quicker when I originate the ride. With MTM doing it there is a delay.

The Uber has what it is called an App. Robot who thinks it knows things. It even talks.

I use Uber Eats all the time. They are good. It's the ride I am talking about.

She did make it to her appointment but, because of all the confusion and being there by herself she had a panick attack. I felt bad for her. She walked home.

@LindaOHio ......I am too. Uber needs to do something about this aspect of their pick-ups.
