Bathing my dogs

last Friday and sunny I finally bathed the dogs. Honestly I don’t usually bathe them anymore because of the storm last week.
I saw someone post on Facebook that he bathes his dog every day. Isn't that bad? Even once or twice a week bath.
I have another issue though, my dog soap kept disappearing and last time I bought two. Now, I kept it inside their med kit just in case.

Hello @rsa101 I think I know that is when they wiggle to attempt to dry themselves. I would tell them allow me to keep distance before they start to wiggle their bodies.

@Letranknight2015 That is correct. My dog used to despise baths, and if you pour water on him, he will wiggle the water out, getting me wet in the process.

Oh that is crazy every day bathing a dog..it is not natural and surely cannot be good for them

Hello @Shavkat How often they get a bath. I usually give them a good bath once or twice a week.

@Letranknight2015 Dogs have a natural coat protecting system which can get harmed by over-bathing. Some vets suggest every 15 days.

Once a week at the most and some breeds even less than that unless it is ordered by a vet for some reason. Brushing does a lot more good for them.

It's not good to bathe dogs everyday. Maybe once in a week but not as often as it should be.

Bathing dogs out is such a tedious task, good thing my 2 boys do it for us. Bathing everyday for me is not good although certain breeds like labradors are natural water lovers.

Hello @Kandae11 that's a problem, I wonder if that person cleans the bathtub afterwards. I don't even do that to my dogs, they are bath outside.

Every day does sound like WAY too much to bathe their dog. I would think it would dry out the dog's skin.
