On International Environment Day I propagate my violet hibiscus.

Today is international environment day. On that day everyone is propagating plants and trees. I boast about my violet hibiscus plant. They are planted in pots in my balcony. I regularly water them. All the flowering plants I have are part of my family. They bring oxygen to the world.

thanks Jojo happy jamai shasthi. Actually my in laws house is in Nagpur. My wife lost her father at an early age. So I hardly go on jamaishasthi there, end of the day the in laws arrange for food and other things for the jamai which I feel is taxing.

Do you strike them from cuttings? And do you give some away? I'm sure your friends would love them.

thanks Judy yes I do. Stemcutting works. But it works more for roses than hibiscus. As Calcutta is warm for most part of the year i have planted flowers of warm weather like jasmine, hibiscus to mention a few
