I've Recorded the 'June 2022'-Hearings, and I WILL watch them; but do we really need more than 'the highlights from Stephen Colbert'?

I'm watching the two-hours (so far) of White House hearings (about the January 6, 2021, riots in the Senate hall)---a little bit at a time. But I've also recorded (and have seen in full) the commentary from LATE SHOW's Stephen Colbert, and I'm guessing that that's all I need to see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ8_X3FFxRU Will I learn more when I watch & re-watch the hearings?

How could he comment on the content of the hearings when they hadn't happened when he filmed the show?

Didn't he say it was LIVE? I think he mentioned it, because it WAS. Not pre-taped that night, and I don't think it'll be pre-taped on Monday night either!

@NJChicaa He usually tapes but he did a live show after the Hearing. He does it on big election nights and other big events, too.
