Fate and Destiny

Do you believe in these? People who keep surviving disasters and such. People who survive some horrible disaster only to die crossing a street. Is there a plan? Fate seems so easy to believe in I think. Destiny is cool to think about. Are our destinies set for us?
Our bodies and minds can take us quite a ways. Can we cheat death? There is also the healing power of the human body. And, sheer luck too. I believe all these can come together sometimes.
What are your thoughts on this?

I Believe in destiny what is meant to be will be, but I also have some doubts about it. I am not even sure what I believe in
