Couple Phishing Experiences Online / myLot

First I get an email supposedly from Paypal saying there was an issue with someone trying to hack my account. They needed me to do some tasks to verify I was myself so they could take the hold off of my account. I checked my app and online and no notifications on my account on either. So I am ignoring it. Then this morning I get this strange email from Best Buy. I never do business with Best Buy and I certainly do not have an account set up with them. The email said someone was trying to hack in and I needed to either change my password or set up an account with them. Now, was this a hacker or Best Buy trying to get my business thinking that if I set up an account surely I will do some business with them? Not this girl. Either way, I am not going for it.

If in doubt, don't do anything what the email has trying you to do. PayPal won't do that especially to change your password.

Both are deffently scams. The one from best buy, might've fooled a lot of people. Particurally those, like myself, who have accounts. But, then I wouldn't fall for it, either.
