Agnipath protesters are not protesting sensibly.

Widespread protest against the Indian government Agnipath program and destroying the country's property and harming the people is not something right. They should have protested without violence. The aspirants can boycott the recruitment and prepare for other professional courses. They can prepare for the police force where you need physical training too. It's our young generation who have to change the attitude of our politicians but not in this way. They can achieve nothing through violence. The country's property that they are destroying is their property as it had been purchased from the taxes that we all of us have been paying directly or indirectly.

Some aspirants are protesting too. I have seen them venting out their grievance to news channels but I don't think they have destroyed public property. It might be the anti socials.

@anil02 Government job is no more safe. This government has started dismissing employees by framing them. Anti socials are always the cause of destruction.

Why are the protesting since it's not obligatory to enlist in the military?

It's the aspirants who are protesting as they were eager to join the defence force for its pay package, fringe benefits and retirement benefits.

@Nakitakona Yes, it's very natural to go after a stable job and income even at the cost of life.

Yes because when protestors start doing harm and getting out of hand, no one will support them.

No one in a country supports vandalism as these damaged properties will be restored by increasing the taxes of the citizens.

People who protest with violence don't care who or what they harm. Protesters have a mob mentality. "Everyone is doing it." so nobody has to take responsibility for the damages. That type of person believes they have no voice in things and they can't make a difference so why not destroy thing? It happens this way in every country.

I understand but that won't do the protesters any good. Their names will be registered with the police and they won't get a job in the government or in private companies.
