Is It Really Complicated, Or None oF Your Business. Maybe I Don't Want To Talk About It.

The phrase IT'S COMPLICATED is mostly used when speaking about a relationship. When someone says it's complicated. Is it really that complicated or do people say that to keep from talking about it?

I always see the status it's complicated being there's more to the story than what it is, or that something is ending or solving the issues at hand etc. Only the persons involved would know what they are exactly going through.

It means that the story is long and complicated and the person doesn't want to discuss it. I think there is some guilt involved as well.

A lot of time it is complicated; and the person does not feel like reliving all the details.

It's too subjective. Only the person concerned knows it why it's complicated.
