I confess that of all Jane Austen´s books, Pride and Prejudice was the one I liked best, followed closely by one that has not been made into a movie (Northanger Abbey).
I have watched the film more than once as it is so similar to that amazing book. Have you read the book or seen the movie?

I have not seen that version. But I love Colin Firth. He is a wonderful actor.

I love Pride and Prejudice the best also. I've read it countless times. My second favorite is Emma. There is so much humor in that book which is shown in the movie--a completely lovely movie with Gwyneth Paltrow.

I have read the book when I was young before. There have been quite a lot of adaptations after that, but nothing quite beats the original.

I first read Pride and Prejudice when studying in high school. I re-read it later. Still one of my favorites.
