Go Suck Eggs

No international support for the Taliban despite their deadly earthquake. Screw that. They don't deserve it, and everyone knows that 1) the Taliban don't give a hoot about their people and 2) the money WILL NOT go to any real aid, but rather to the regime and their terrorist agendas. The U.S. will likely not provide any support, but who knows? It's Biden. Nothing would shock me. He better not. It is not that I have no concern nor compassion for the people of Afghanistan, many of whom may likely not even support the Taliban rule. But knowing that the aid will not be properly administered is reason enough for me to not support providing any. You're on your own guys. When you support Sharia law and degrade women maybe even an atheist such as myself can say, "Maybe the big guy is sending a message to you." Go suck eggs.

@porwest If we supported this cause financially, someone would skim the cream off the top. Those people wouldn't get a dime!

@kobesbuddy That's my problem with it. The people who need the money won't get it, and the majority of any "assistance" will go to weapons and to fund terrorist activity.

It is a shame these people have to live the way they do and that people like the Taliban have to be such cruel and crushing rulers. Like I said, if I thought any aid would actually go to the people I'd have a different opinion about helping.

@RebeccasFarm Afghanistan is and was a country that harbored terrorists and that was a threat to us. So we went there to remove that threat and free the people of that country. Unfortunately it did not quite work out that way.

We were in Afghanistan justifiably. But yes, I leave nothing to surprise when it comes to this administration.

The freedom world should quarantine Afghanistan Taliban like quarantining North Korea.Don't do business with him, don't help him, don't have mercy on him,or he will be like China and Russia that threaten the freedom world with his totalitarianism when he gets strong.

Sometimes, when it comes to certain people, you just can't have compassion. You have to simply stick it to them and make sure it hurts.

We should learn from Roberto Clemente. There was an earthquake in Nicaragua in 1972. Clemente became concerned that the government was confiscating relief supplies, so he decided to fly down there himself. Most of you know the results of that. That’s the sad thing: we want to help the people affected, but the government gets in the way. Here, there, and everywhere, as the Beatles song said.

Yeah, there really is no reasonable solution in these matters in a country like this. Even the Red Cross might think twice about doing anything over there. The Taliban have no regard whatsoever for human life, and no matter who goes there to try to help—they will be considered infidels and killed.

I laugh whenever the Taliban gets hammered. They are useless scum of the earth, they deserve 100 earthquakes. The Afghanistan citizens live in terror, because of the Taliban!

The Taliban are surely a terrible regime and just horrible, nasty people. They should never have been allowed to regain power. I hate any suffering, but no suffering is worse there than the suffering doled out by the Taliban government in control of the country.

@porwest Those people live in constant fear, knowing they can't move without asking first.

@kobesbuddy It's a terrible situation for sure, and sure isn't what we know as "living." I wish there was a way to fix it, but places like this probably can't be fixed. It's a shame. Life is too short and too precious to have to live the way these people unfortunately do.

Nobody would have compassion with them. Their terrorism agenda are condemnable and unpardonable acts and deeds.

I was actually surprised a little bit I had no dissenters to my commentary here. It is clear the Taliban is not a regime worth admiring nor caring about. It was a refreshing revelation actually.
