I was just talking to my brother, and he informed me that we'll have tenants in our house by the fourteenth of next month. That seems kind of weird--the thought of someone else living in the house I grew up in--but the nice thing is, they'll be paying my brother and I money to live there. Told my brother about rent, too. He'll be by with it tomorrow. Have you ever been a landlord before?

Yes and I didn’t like lt but I shouldn’t discourage you. I hope you and your brother have better luck.

My brother's going to be in charge of the "landlording"--I think partly because I don't drive and couldn't get over there fast if they needed it, and also if they need it, he would be the one doing any repairs and the like.

@xstitcher We didn’t live near our rental house and the renters were rough on the house, repairs were always needed and there was trouble collecting rent. It was a nightmare. But I shouldn’t discourage you. Yo might have better luck.

That must be Angel in the photo. I have never been nor do I want to be a landlord.

Yes, it is. That day we were visiting her doggie friend and when it was time to go home, Angel immediately went next door to the house we used to live in.

That is some cash coming in. But yes it's you have memories there and it would feel like it would be trampled on.

Yes but it's too unbearable for there are misunderstanding among the tenants more so they're family.

That is great . Save back a certain amount for repairs and taxes.
