Good neighbors buy a home for a resident about to be evicted

Minneapolis resident Linda Taylor who is 70 years of age and arrived in the Powderhorn Park 19 years ago doing her good works of assisting the needy in her neighborhood while she rented a home during that time received some bad news from her landlord that her rental home would be up for sale. Linda was then supposed to be evicted at the end of January. However since Linda is loved by her neighbors, they made a deal with the landlord that they would raise money via donations to purchase the property by the end of June. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of Linda's neighbors, the payment of her home happened in late May when over $275,000 dollars were raised to keep Linda who is living proof doing good deeds in her neighborhood did pay off when she needed it most.
