The violet hibiscus has sustained the monsoon.

In Calcutta in India, the monsoons are severe. In 3 weeks of June there had been very serious rains. My violet hibiscus are planted in pots in the balcony. Inspite of the severe rains the flowers are alive and fresh. They dont have fragrance but have a very attractive appearance.

Are they under a roof of some sort so the flowers don't get too battered?
