And Yet Another Disappointment

I was looking forward to today as it's supposed to be my last pay day from my previous job but to my disappointment I only received half of my salary when I was expecting way, way more. I needed that money for my running expense this month and even maybe next as I don't know when I can start my new job due to visa delays. I am expecting money next month but with this I am quite worried it won't turn out well as well. I am really starting to worry. I feel like nothing is working out for me at the moment. I feel like fate is bullying me.

Why only half? That's unfair labor practice. What you have worked should be paid fairly.

I remember when I was 22 it was my first job and 1st day at work my officemate has to lend me money for transportation and food. I wore the same pants for 1 week, I wash it at night. I dont have office clothes going out of university. Early 20s can be a hard time. I hope you get yourself established soon and things will be smoother if you save money. I'm in my 40s now and it is not as hard as before. Although I still have some financial obligations as well as I need to save now for retirement. Sending prayers and strength your way.

Can't you negotiate with the company to pay your full salary? Is it not an obligation? Anyway I hope things get sorted out.

Yeah I think there's a hiccup or confusion since I left. I am sure it will be sorted. I am just not sure how soon it would take. I was counting on that money so much.

I am just worried that it would take the next pay run to fix it which is actually next month

But now trying to borrow money from my cousin just till this one comes.

that is really disappointing. that is really not good as you work hard for it and just got half of it. but yea sometimes is life is unfair, or sometimes its fair, or sometimes it is so lucky. Just keep the good work and you might get a very nice day and salary. maybe even a bonus next month. Cheer Up!

Yeah I checked it last midnight and that's a mistake I lost sleep over it. I'm trying to ask my colleague to take a photo of my payslip. Hopefully I can sort it out. Now trying to borrow money from my cousin.
