30 days since we buried hubby's grandpa / myLot

Today is the last day of the month and, even though hubby is off today, he went to work anyway. And he didn't even tell me that he was going to do that. Not like we had any plans today anyway but he still should've told me last night that he is gonna go to work today. Hubby's (paternal) grandpa passed away end of May and June 1st was the funeral. Today is 30 days since we buried him. We should've actually gone to the cemetery today with his grandma and others to visit his grave and then have dinner after. Originally his grandma wanted to do that this coming Sunday but not sure if that will happen or not. Depends on hubby's parents and his aunt and what their plans are. It is 4th of July weekend after all. If it is not done on the 30th day I guess it doesn't really matter when it happens. For Jews, I wonder why you are supposed to visit the grave on the 7th day after the burial and then on the 30th day. There has to be some significance to that.

I can't understand that religion, but perhaps your husband needed to keep busy. It can be hard losing a loved one, and he may have needed to get out of the house.

He sells cars for a living. Perhaps he is trying to sell a certain amount of cars this month to reach a bonus. Or maybe he wants to reach a certain earnings amount. You only make money if you sell cars.

@lovebuglena Well, then there's a good possibility, tooo. Commission can make you a lot of money, but it's not guaranteed income.
