These kinds of stories I enjoy sharing on this site since it shows the kind hearts that a Tennessee State Police Highway Officer who goes by the last name Tudors was in his squad car on Interstate 75 just over two weeks ago. Thanks to a motorist named Kaye Fiorello who saw a small dog named Princess who suffered internal injuries as well as a broken pelvis which may have been a result of being abused by her previous owner, Kaye contacted the state trooper to ask him to assist Princess who was near death in the extreme heat outside. Officer Tudors used a water bowl to give Princess a drink to avoid dying of heat which she accepted. Then Officer Tudors covered Princess with his umbrella over her head until medical help arrived to take Princess to be treated for her injuries. The best part of this story is that Officer Tudors has adopted Princess as his own pet even though Officer Tudors will be getting help from an Angel fund to assist him pay for the medical bills for the recovery of Princess. I just wish the media would spend time reporting the kind acts like Officer Tudor more often since not everything in our world today is dark and hopeless.

I wonder if she could have been hit by a car? It makes me sick to my stomach to hear about dogs that are abused, out in the sun, no home, etc. I'm so glad the officer has adopted Princess.

Being hit by a car could have been a possible scenario. I am happy that Officer Tudors has adopted Princess.

What a wonderful trooper to help this dog. The media seems to enjoy negative stories unfortunately.

I agree with you that if more police officers were like him, we would have a wonderful world. Not one that is filled with division.

How did Kaye know the name of the dog? Did she know the owner too? Why did she not report the cruelty of the owner to the authority? And why Kaye didn't take care of the injured dog rather than shrug off the responsibility?
