This is a trailer from a 1935 movie called Barbary Coast starring Miriam Hopkins, Edward G. Robinson, and Joel McCrea. It's entertaining to watch old trailers, the films might be inadequate, but the trailers are enjoyable.
This was not a place for your next vacation destination. Wikipedia states it was a red light district in San Francisco between the 19th and 20th centuries with bars, saloons, brothels and overall a dreadful place to visit.
The best part of the trailer is where they are walking a man down the street, and he says shouldn't I have a lawyer? The man beside him says I'm your lawyer, the main actor replies, yeah, but you have a gun pointed at my back.
I wouldn't watch it, but the trailer is amusing.

@LadyDuck Some of the old ones are so good. Movies today are starting to lose interest for me.
