I'm going to see my grandsons tomorrow! / myLot

I have't seen them in 6 years. The youngest just turned 7. Their mother dumped my son and moved east to Harrisburg, PA, with her new boyfriend just before Memorial Day. My son found out when he texted her to arrange to take them camping for the holiday weekend. So, there is that. But, instead of being 1800 miles away, they're now two hours away. It'd be nice if they knew me more than by name. My daughter is going, too. I'll be her passenger. I wonder what I can take to surprise them with. I don't have any money after having bought the computer I'm using. But, I might be able to find something in all the resale stock I have sitting around. I'd better start looking. The photos I used are a few years old, but Alex is 10, Cooper is 8 and Oliver is 7. Their sister is also there and she's 18. So, I'll try to get a photo of her while I'm there.

My son paid for me to go out before and I got a second flight a year later by being willing to take a bump to a later flight (airline gave me a voucher.) I'm on a fixed income, so that's pretty limiting. My daughter is going out later this month to see my son and her father plus her half brother and sister and all her nieces and nephews.

It only just happened two months ago and he lost his lucrative job when the pandemic hit. Now he's just trying to make ends meet. But, I hope he'll make it here to see them and me.
