Quiet Here

If I look out my bay window I can see flashes of light through the trees. So someone is playing with fireworks out there. But even with the windows open I am not hearing anything. That is nice. Bunny doberman is fairly relaxed. Earlier I heard a couple of booms but then they were done.
I got the counters finished today. But except for that I didnt do anything. It was very humid here. So sitting in front of the fan felt good. I am going to cut my pattern pieces out soon. Then decide what I am making first.

It was good here, pretty quiet compared to Saturday, but they starting to pick up pace and we hear them all. The University here is usually the star attraction of the inland empire. They usually do not start till it gets dark out though and then people kind of feed off that even more.

@wolfgirl569 Thank You, they got pretty nuts, but no sirens heard two, far away so that is good I guess but made people change their behavior and that is pretty uncool.

Very quiet at my home too. New Years is when my neighborhood loves to celebrate. Good, I believe, fireworks chase evil spirits away, but I always pray noone gets hurt! I've my fan on second button & enjoying it too!
Just dashed to Marukai fy my soy chicken mini plate lunch & immigration crab salad. Drizzling, so laundry , I'll check in about half hour or so. If still drizzling, tomorrow laundry. As I went to check laundry room, a car stopped on the road, asked me if there's any vacancy, said don't know and gave them landlords info on but forgot to say landlord closed today...said a prayer, to let them know, landlord closed today.

Its too cold here usually on New Years to want to set fireworks off. So they do it over the fourth

Monday was much quieter than Saturday night. The close neighbors made our windows rattle.
