Boy! Did I Get a Surprise!

The 4th of July was rather quiet until dark and then there were some of the usual intermittent fireworks. I also watched some fireworks on tv and just had a quiet and enjoyable evening. About 12:30a. I was watching a movie and by 1:30a. I was on my way to dreamland.

At 2:30a. the next-door neighbors suddenly had their music on full blast. They also fired off a whole bunch of fireworks for about half an hour. Loud ones! Then the music was turned off and I thought the fireworks were over too. Not true! The music suddenly went back on for several minutes and another strew of fireworks.

I have to have my window open for a cool breeze this time of year so I got the full blast of music and fireworks. Sure am glad that is over for another year.

I am too. I watch a nice display every year on tv. Sometimes ones from all over the world.
