The day is becoming evening. Today was sunny. Weather permitted me to get my cooked rice for my small sashimi, that I was craving. Shredded some head lettuce and fresh spinach, to add to my sashimi. Soy sauce mixed with wasabi and a quarter teaspoon of dry mustard for a bit of a sour taste. Was delicious!
Dinner, is just, Pineapple Cottage cheese on Ritz crackers. I've bought bon bon ice cream called Pino by Morinaga Corp, exported by Kawa Corp. from Marukai for dessert twice today!!

Try Safeway deli. It's just sashimi, tuna specifically ahi, sorry not salmon.

Great! No Albertsons, but have Safeway,
just the opposite of your hometown.

I don't care for raw fish or cottage cheese; but I'm glad you enjoyed them both. Have a great weekend.

I have never had sashimi but I have heard of it. What is it exactly and what does it taste like?

Hmm, have you ever ate Bumble Bee, salmon pouch? It's similar texture & taste, no bones in but is ahi, big tuna. Sold in blocks of, 2" wide & 4" long going for $8-9. All red meat, raw & ready to cut into pieces about an 1/8" thick. Most cut raw white Japanese radish or daikon julian style to hold together with sashimi piece to dip in a wasabi soy sauce. I had, head lettuce that I shredded for my sashimi. Warm rice, sashimi and the shredded lettuce, mmm bon appetit!
