They Are Invited

My mamma's birthday is soon, she is turning 50 which...you know...is a big deal. Although, birthdays, holidays, have always been very um...traumatic, basically during or by the end we have gotten into a fight with my grandma or crying because something stupid happened. They have not been kind to us. My mom is very anxious for her birthday, because we just never know what is going to happen and we always expect the worse because like...what has happened in the past? The worse But this year my mom really wants to get a birthday bear at build-a-bear, just one of the cheap 10-12 dollar bears. So, to those who have met Mikey the Panda, he is from build-a-bear, he is almost 13 years old, and Pistachio who is almost 7 is his best friend. And I had the idea of, hey, why don't be bring along the boys to build-a-bear and have a little party! Yes, we are adults, but these little guys are basically like family, because in this world is really is only my mom and I. Yes, I have my grandma, but she makes everything so difficult sometimes. Love her, but also...ugh And my mom loved the idea of bringing them because she loves the boys as much as I do. I mean, she has Mikey as her lockscreen! So, will we be judged by my grandma for being 2 adults bringing 2 stuffed animals to build-a-bear for a little party? Oh yeah. But we are not going to care what my grandma says this year. We are not going to care what anyone says if it is negative. We are going to have fun, we are going to enjoy ourselves and my mom is going to finally have a good birthday, dang it

If your grandma causes fighting, I'd hesitate to invite her. My sisters do that, too. We avoid them to keep peace in our home.

Well, when it comes to certain things, it is hard to uninvite her since she is the one that drives haha

@DesirousDreamer Wrap her mouth in duct tape, for the duration of her visit. First let her eat, of course:)

@kobesbuddy Her skin might be a little too sensitive for that. I'll just take her teeth, so no one can understand what she is saying (totally kidding by the way)

Good for you both. Don't let anyone rain on your parade. And a very happy birthday to your Mom, even if it is a bit early.
