Dominick John Dunne had a long and interesting career. He lived from 1925 until 2009. He was an American writer, producer, investigative journalist, and a frequent contributor to Vanity Fair.
After the 1982 killing of his daughter, he began to focus on the ways in which high society and wealth merge with the justice system. From the 80's on he could regularly be found on television discussing crime.
He hosted and narrated the tv series Dominick Dunne ~ Power, Privilege and Justice from 2002 until 2009 in which he told the stories of the wealthiest families in the eastern United States and their affairs, murders, and secrets.
I enjoy his stories because they are about a world I know very little about. He does it in such a way that you feel a part of the proceedings and interested in the outcome. He can really tell a story.

@Deepizzaguy ..........He is somewhat like Robert Osbourne who used to host TCM. He is so knowledgeable and I so enjoy listening to have talk about New York.

Yes, it is. To lose our children is bad news.
