Old Town Maine police officers Sergeant Bailey and Deputy Chief Miller answered an emergency call from a concerned resident last Tuesday to pick up a loose sheep that got away from his owner's home and wandered into another resident's home. Both officers Miller and Bailey were able to catch the sheep safely since Deputy Chief Miller works on a farm and he has experience dealing with wandering animals. Both police officers were able to guide the sheep into the squad car and return the lost sheep to his owner who is grateful to have his pet returned home safe and sound. Too bad that the media do not report the good deeds police officers do dealing with lost animals more often.

Good that the sheep got saved but maybe the poor sheep was just looking for a store to buy some things

That is what I am thinking why the sheep left his home to go on the home of a stranger.

That is too funny that the sheep got to ride in the squad car. I'm glad it was returned to its owner.

I found it funny as well as a sheep would get a ride inside of a police squad car myself after being caught by the police officers.

The story of the sheep being taken by the police inside of a squad car is comical indeed.

They should have put that on the national news. That would have been a cute story

That is true since the news needs to have some good news and funny stories at the end of their telecasts.

Nice, I miss stories like that and wish the worlds biggest problems were lost sheep. Police here were looking for someone last night could see them shining the spot light through houses. I was outside pretty good bit and I did not see or hear anything so not sure who called them but they were not around long, probably just prank call for once.

There are times where the news reports have stories of prank calls on the police.

Hercules might have liked a ride in a police car if he had ever got away.

That's so funny. I can see someone driving by and looking in the back to see a criminal and there's a sheep looking back at them. I agree it's a shame the media doesn't report the good stuff.

I know if I saw a sheep riding in the back of a police car, I would think that I am living in an alternate world myself.

I know what you mean since I would think I was living in another world if I saw a sheep in the back of the squad car.
