Our relationship with God

There is a level of love with God that we cannot achieve on our own; it can only be reached by us, when we accept God's love as a gift, into ourselves, for us to work with, and for it to work through us, in our lives.
God loves you without end, and this is a gift that he gives to all, just as your loving of others is a gift from yourself to them too.
God does not give you something, then take it away; you take it away from yourself.
God made you his intimate friend, and you remove yourself from God; never does God remove himself from you.
A relationship with God is brought about by allowing his love into your life, and then by returning this love to yourself, and to all around you then, too.
Your life blends in with love, when love is the primary energy, empowering you to life, through your heart.
Trust is a part of love, as when you fully love someone, you trust them completely then too.
“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
Corrie ten Boom, ( 1892 to 1983) a Dutch writer, said this.
God has a future planned for each one of us, and it can be fulfilled, when we trust him to guide us in our lives.

Trusting unknown to a known God...this is so beautiful and totally resonated with my faith and beliefs.

@arunima25 Sometimes this is hard to do to trust God, but Jesus said can worrying add a single hour to your life. I try very hard to trust in God all the time.

Yes, God created us, but his "creation" with us is not finished as such, so we need to allow God's gift of love to live in us, and to complete us fully for God.

God's love is given and we should always be aware of this life-giving force.
Some ignore this fact of life and even go about "unfriending" our creator as some do with others on Facebook!
When our trust in God is complete, then life is a cakewalk. And with God in our minds and life all the time, what else do we need?
We will then be well on our way here and forever!

I think in a way that life is more than just being a cakewalk, as we have the benefit of the cakemaker, and the cake too, if we partake of them.
Sometimes, we might not like the taste of the cake, so presented, but we can learn to live with the cake, knowing that it was made for us by God's hand too.
The cakewalk was originally a dancing contest amongst American slaves, and the prize was a cake. It was danced with gay abandon, and comically, as a fun thing for them to do.
So, our life can be like that too, when our dancing partner is God.

@innertalks That is news to me about the origins of the "cakewalk" that is bandied about often for ages.
Yes, despite the master cakemaker, we have to walk on thin ice at times but there is the master chef to catch us when we trip and lose all hope! We should be prepared to end up with eggs on our faces at times but that goes with the turf.
We will survive despite having to trudge along on hope!

Yes, that is what having a relationship with God means.
It means being in relationship with God every day, and thinking of him at every moment, as we go about living our lives here too. Yes, we think of him in good times, and in bad too.

Yes, we do need to remember God, at all times, in our lives, and not ignore his presence, even for just one single moment.

@Nakitakona I am sure that God would stay with us even if we are trying to do this too.
Maybe some part of our psyche is stopping us for now, but if we ask for God's help, continually, eventually we will overcome all of our blockages to accepting him fully into our lives.
