Back to work. / myLot

Today is the first day in a week George has been back to work. We're already planning our next overnight adventure. He's doing much better and is planing on making some important life changes. I'm at the desk posting this before I work on the dishes. It does seem like things are falling into place. I'm just glad things are working out. George used some of his vacation to make up for the missed pay.

He's not happy about it of course. He'd much rather not work. But, he's happy he's well enough to complain about how he hates to work.

@RasmaSandra He's looking forward to retirement honestly. And, I don't blame him. Any later, and he'd be going home in the dark.

@kaylachan, you know I know how he feels I hated going to work every day when I lived in NYC and had finished university, but then I enjoyed my colleagues, and that was good, but after it all ended and mom and I went to Latvia I was so happy to have my own schedule and worked from home as an English Language Instructor

We're going back to the beach, hoping to enjoy the fireworks this time. We went over for the 4th, but George, my husband, wasn't feeling well. Now that he's feeling better, he wants to try again for my birthday.
