It is a cruel and selfish world

Some of the experiences I had me made me think that this is a cruel and selfish world. People will use you and throw you out when they do not need you. People are selfish and only thinks about themselves. Sometimes I wonder if there is really God and why is this selfishness happening. Why this pain in this world? Why does not people have a heart? Have you ever come under such circumstances.
Can you give me one small thing to believe in God and one small thing to make me believe there is goodness in the world? Can you take away the pain in me and make me happy?

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling this way. I assure you, there are a lot of good people in the world. It sounds like you have had the misfortune of encountering the bad eggs. The thing is God gave people free will so they can go around doing what they like even if it's not the right thing to do. Please try not to let it get you down. Surround yourself with good people, and be a good person yourself, even if people don't treat you right, because that just shows them that you are the better person.

It is hard to find any good people in life. We invest our time and all the money and everything to make a friend happy and then when time comes they would start ignore you when they get in better financially. I always wish I could find at least one good person in life who can support emotionally, but every time the same story goes on. People ignoring and calling or contacting only when they need you.

@ajithlal I hear you. That's bad luck. There are some nice people here on MyLot. I hope you think I'm a nice person. All the more important for you to be a good person yourself. At least you'll know you do the right thing and if other people don't treat you right that says more about them than it does about you. Don't give up. I'm sure you'll find some nice people eventually.

@sharonelton At least in myLot nobody can make use of me and make me feel stupid or backstab me just kidding. Year thinks there are lots of good people in myLot and hopes there are.

I can relate to your problem . I had experienced that kind of selfishness before . But i believe God is there for me and for you and im hoping that i can meet a lot of people in the future that have a good heart like yours :) and here in mylot they have a lot of people with a kind heart , just believe in yourself and pray for you to have friends having a good heart .

I also found that there are lots of people who have a good heart in myLot. In today's real world no body has time for anyone and most people are selfish and they use you and throw you after their needs. I also wish there was really God and God brings happiness and peace to everyone.

It's sad that you are unhappy and I agree the world is both harsh and comfortable, like the day and night. God gives you courage to overcome the pains and enjoy the good things of life.

Don't worry, out of a bunch, there will be one or two who will always remember you. The world isn't fair for sure..what to do, right. Shrugs..cheer up, aite..

I tend to shy away from cruel or uncaring people. A person can only take so much of that and then you're just done, you truly are. Keep looking to your future. Remember the lessons but try to forget the ones who hurt you. As the saying goes, don't look back--you're not going that way.
Keep looking for goodness and people with a truly sincere heart. You will find them.
