Thanks to the actions of animal control officers in Dedham Massachusetts, two baby racoons who were born inside of a chimney of a resident on Tuesday. The Dedham Police Department sent animal control officers to a home after the resident of the home saw two baby raccoons who were about two weeks of age who were seen on a smoke shelf between the chimney and the firebox. The mother of the two baby racoons had left her babies inside of the chimney during the night. The animal control officers took the baby raccoons away from the home to a safe place outside where the reunion with their mother would come at a later time during the day.
