Have You Ever Lost Yourself Trying To Please Everyone Else. Then Lose Everyone Else When Finding You?

You are always there for everyone else. You never say no when asked to do something. You put everything and everyone before you. Then one day you decided to stop being there for everyone and started doing you. Now, no one wants to be around you. How did that make you feel?

I have learned to say "no". I sometimes feel lonely and isolated.

I don't think we need to please everyone. Help whenever we can but say no if necessary. Just be yourself.

I have had that happen a few times. I guess you find out who your real friends are.

Selfish to my core! The me-first thinking of today, ignores that we are all in this together.

I think we don't have to please everyone, actually, that intention is impossible to achieve. We just can make part of people our friends instead of everyone. Not everyone is worth making friend with.Being youself is much more important than pleasing others. When you should say no to someone, don't hesitate to say,as a adult,we should give refusal when you feel it's necessary.
