The shouting guy is shouting. Jackie spoke some new words today. I played softball tonight. Just another day in the Bay Area.

Jackie said "me" and "mine" today. Se also called me "Papa" and tried to say my real first name. That was good. Right now, the shouting guy is shouting away. Earlier in the day, he was shouting something about "men who beat their wives," and it sounded interesting, but I realized I had a softball game tonight and didn't have the energy to fully listen in. We won our softball game handily, and I played fine, so I am not in a "grumpy" mood. But I have to wake up at 6 AM to get to work, so I hope the shouting guy quiets down. I need my "ugly rest." Do you think I will wind up walking over and talking to him? I'm taking bets. The police and local social workers have done nothing. My belief is that he is not armed. Just another day in the San Francisco Bay Area.

@kareng Maybe someone slipped him some Benadryl. He often shouts away into the wee hours.

Just be careful, he sounds like a "mental case" to me.

He IS a mental case. But I'm not convinced he's dangerous.

Is Jackie your language delayed child? Hope he quieted down so you could sleep

Yes, Jackie is my language-delayed child. I really enjoy playing with her.

You'd need to be very careful in these times to accost someone even if you just want to talk to him. I hope he just shuts up so you can all get some sleep.

I hope he will stop so you can rest. I wouldn't try to talk to him in case something bad happens. Plus you might make it worse.

Make it worse. I thought of that. I am optimistic I would not, though.

Congrats on winning the game. Be careful if you talk to the shouting guy. How exciting that Jackie spoke two new words.
