No rain for this week please

We can finally move back to our house after almost 7 months. Problem is, there's a small flood(?) on the way to our house so my wife doesn't want us to move yet.
She's afraid the movers will slip and injure themselves and drop the boxes.
It's been cloudy since Monday but the water level is not going down very fast 
I really hope it doesn't rain at least.
I'd really like to go back to our house now.

I can understand your wives' misgivings. I hope you are able to move everything safely back into the house.

Sorry about and I understand the worries that your wife is having I hope the floods subside and you move back safely I wish you all the best and take care before anything else
